itsu [grocery], which this role falls under, takes the itsu brand into supermarkets, health food stores, online, wholesale and internationally with products such as crispy seaweed thins, frozen gyoza & bao, brilliant’broth, rice’noodles & miso’easy to name a few…



The role

  • Support Brand Managers with internal sell-ins & rollout of marketing/NPD slides. Attend and present at buyer meetings for Ocado, Convenience & Whol/High St/Trav channels.
  • Trade Marketing Non-grocery: Manage all trade marketing activity with NAMs and BMs for Ocado, Convenience & Whol/High St/Trav. Support in defining appropriate levels of trade marketing spend and budget for channels within brand planning/budgeting process, signed off by Marketing Controller. Conduct full reviews and make ongoing recommendations for optimisation and improvement.
  • Field Sales: Oversee field sales activity [marketing-led] working with sales & business development team to implement & forecast spend.
  • Business Reporting & Insight: for non-grocery channels, staying on top of industry news [with a particular focus on marketing/trade marketing/consumer behaviour. Manage loyalty initaitives for the team, identifying areas for investment & reporting back on new opportunities.
  • Budget management- Manage Ocado, Whol/High St/Trav [incl. new business] spend with monthly reviews and reporting
