Production Operatives - Rocester

JCB, the UK’s leading manufacturer of construction and agricultural equipment, is seeking motivated and skilled Production Operatives to join their team across sites in Derbyshire and Staffordshire.

Key Responsibilities

  • In this role, you’ll play a vital part in the production of high-quality machinery. Day-to-day duties may include:
  • Working on the assembly line to help build industry-leading construction equipment while meeting KPI targets
  • Maintaining performance and quality standards at all times
  • Using hand and air tools safely and effectively
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Receiving, storing, and organising goods within the warehouse
  • Participating in on-site training programmes to develop and enhance your skills
  • Supporting different processes across the operation following training
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives (problem-solving, countermeasures, and Kaizen activities)
  • Adhering strictly to all Health & Safety policies and procedures

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous factory, production, assembly, or mechanical experience (desirable but not essential – full training provided)
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent timekeeping and attendance
  • A flexible approach and willingness to work shifts
