Jewellery Project Manager – Client Services

About Vipa Designs

Vipa Designs Ltd is a specialist, family-run jewellery manufacturer with a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship, technical expertise and outstanding service.

We design, cast and manufacture high-quality, ethically produced fine jewellery for a diverse and prestigious client base.

Our customers range from private clients and independent designers through to established jewellery retailers, manufacturers and internationally recognised brands.

Working discreetly behind the scenes, we have brought to life everything from incredible one-off bespoke pieces to complete jewellery collections for some of the UK's leading designers, jewellery retailers and fashion houses.

Our business combines traditional craftsmanship with modern technology and innovation. As a growing family business, we are proud to offer the professionalism, capability and ambition of a leading manufacturer whilst retaining the personal approach, supportive culture and sense of teamwork that comes from being independently owned.

At Vipa, we are passionate about excellence. We value hard work, expertise, initiative and attention to detail, whilst recognising the importance of creating an enjoyable and rewarding environment for our people.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for exceptional individuals who share our passion for jewellery and would like to become part of our journey.

The Role

We are seeking a highly organised, commercially aware and customer-focused Jewellery Project Manager to join our growing team.

This is a key client-facing role within the business, offering the opportunity to work across a diverse range of exciting and technically challenging jewellery projects.

You will sit at the centre of the creative, commercial and manufacturing process, acting as an important link between our clients and specialist in-house teams. You will take ownership of projects from the initial enquiry and design concept through to quotation, development, manufacture and final delivery.

Working closely with private clients, designers, retailers and strategic accounts, you will develop a thorough understanding of each project and translate creative ideas into commercially viable and technically achievable jewellery products.

This is not simply an administrative or customer service role. You will become a trusted point of contact for clients, working collaboratively with our CAD technicians, craftspeople and production teams to solve challenges, coordinate projects and ensure outstanding results.

The successful candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to confidently manage multiple projects within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about fine jewellery and enjoys combining customer relationships, creativity, technical understanding, commercial awareness and project management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver an exceptional and highly professional level of service to new and existing clients.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects, ensuring clear communication, effective coordination and successful delivery from initial enquiry through to completion.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact throughout the lifecycle of each project.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clients by developing a thorough understanding of their requirements, brand identity and individual preferences.
  • Prepare accurate and commercially considered quotations for bespoke jewellery, individual designs and complete collections.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and strategic accounts.
  • Manage jewellery projects from initial enquiry and concept through to production and delivery.
  • Interpret client briefs, sketches and written descriptions, helping to translate creative concepts into finished jewellery pieces.
  • Work closely with CAD technicians to develop and refine customer designs.
  • Collaborate with craftspeople and production teams to ensure designs are technically suitable and commercially viable for manufacture.
  • Identify potential challenges throughout the design and production process and work collaboratively with clients and internal teams to develop practical and effective solutions.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Vipa's manufacturing capabilities and processes in order to confidently advise clients and support the successful delivery of projects.
  • Monitor project progress, production schedules and order statuses to ensure projects remain on track.
  • Proactively communicate with clients and internal teams throughout the production process.
  • Recognise opportunities to develop existing customer relationships and support the growth of new and existing business.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer, project and production information across internal systems.
  • Contribute ideas and insight to support the continued development of customer service, internal processes and the wider growth of the business.
  • Ensure all work is completed with a consistently high level of accuracy, professionalism and attention to detail.

The Person

We are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their work and understands the importance of delivering an exceptional experience within a premium environment.

You will be naturally organised, proactive and confident communicating with a wide range of clients and colleagues. You will enjoy working in a dynamic environment and have the ability to manage multiple priorities without compromising on quality or attention to detail.

Essential Skills & Attributes

  • A genuine knowledge of, or strong passion for, fine jewellery.
  • Phenomenal attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
  • Experience managing a high volume of customer enquiries and requests.
  • A customer-focused approach with the ability to build strong professional relationships.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to understand client requirements from both a creative and practical perspective.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Confidence working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • The ability to remain calm, organised and effective under pressure.
  • A responsible, reliable and professional approach to work.
  • Strong multitasking and time-management skills.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and other administrative systems.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to work closely with colleagues across different departments.

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience within the jewellery, luxury goods or manufacturing industries.
  • Experience working with bespoke or made-to-order products.
  • An understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes.
  • The ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Experience or familiarity with CAD software.

Why Join Vipa Designs?

This is an opportunity to join a successful and ambitious business at an exciting stage of its continued growth.

As a family-run company, we believe our people play a vital role in shaping the future of our business. We offer a supportive and collaborative working environment where individuals are encouraged to take ownership, contribute ideas and develop their skills.

Unlike a large corporate organisation, this is an opportunity to become genuinely involved in the business and make a meaningful contribution. We value initiative and recognise that great ideas can come from anywhere within the team.

You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, collaborate with highly skilled craftspeople and technical specialists, and gain exposure to the complete journey of fine jewellery — from initial concept through to the finished piece.

We recognise commitment, expertise and contribution, and are committed to supporting the ongoing development of our team through training, mentoring and hands-on experience.

If you are passionate about fine jewellery, take pride in delivering phenomenal work and are looking for an opportunity where you can develop your career, build meaningful client relationships and genuinely influence the success of a growing business, we would love to hear from you.

Join Vipa Designs and become part of a team where craftsmanship, innovation, collaboration and exceptional service come together to create something truly special.
