Social Media and Marketing Executive
About Our Brand
Established in 2018, Austen & Blake is a fine jewellery brand specialising in made-to-order engagement rings, wedding rings and fine jewellery, with a bespoke offering also available. Each piece is individually made with a focus on customisation, considered craftsmanship and a customer-led design process delivered online or through in-person consultations.
With a growing network of stores across the UK and internationally, alongside a thriving digital presence, Austen & Blake continues to make high-quality, custom-made jewellery more accessible to customers around the world.
The Role: Overview
Working closely with the Social Media Manager and Marketing Manager, you will play a key supporting role in the day-to-day running of Austen & Blake's social media and marketing activities across global markets. This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who is passionate about social media and brand building, highly organised, and eager to develop their skills within a premium jewellery brand. The role will support both the Social Media Manager and Marketing Manager across content, campaigns, partnerships, events, influencer activity and wider marketing initiatives.
Ways of Working
This role is based at Austen & Blake's UK head office on a hybrid basis: three days in the office and two days working from home. Wednesday is typically a content shoot day and will usually be spent in the office.
Key Responsibilities
Content Scheduling & Calendar Management
- Assist the Social Media Manager in scheduling and publishing content accurately and on time across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn
- Manage scheduling for both UK and Australia/New Zealand accounts using the brand's scheduling platform, ensuring content is queued to go live at the correct times for each market
- Work from pre-planned and briefed content, supporting the Social Media Manager in keeping the content calendar on track
Content Creation & Filming Support
- Join in-office shoot days (typically Wednesdays) to assist the Social Media Manager with filming social content, acting as a second pair of hands on set
- Edit short-form video content for social platforms using tools such as Canva and CapCut, formatting and adapting footage for use across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Stories
- Experience with Premiere Pro is a bonus but not required
Community Management
- Monitor and manage incoming DMs and comments across all social platforms on a daily basis
- Respond to community interactions in line with brand tone of voice, and filter and route customer enquiries appropriately to either the customer care team or relevant showroom locations
- Help maintain a positive and engaged community presence across all channels
Trend Research & Platform Awareness
- Regularly research and share emerging social media trends, platform updates, and content formats relevant to the brand
- Bring fresh ideas and observations to the team to inform content planning and creative direction
Campaign Coordination
- Support the execution of seasonal campaigns, product launches and key trading moments across international markets.
- Work closely with CRM, Digital Marketing, Social Media and Creative teams to coordinate campaign activity and ensure timely delivery.
- Assist with campaign storytelling, asset management and launch execution across multiple channels.
Retail Marketing Support
- Support local marketing activity across Austen & Blake's showroom network.
- Build relationships with shopping centres, local media contacts and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate marketing assets and support showroom participation in local events and campaigns.
Creative Collaboration & Visual Standards
- Work closely with the in-house Creative team to coordinate campaign assets and deliverables.
- Support relationships with external agencies, media partners and suppliers.
- Help maintain brand consistency across all customer-facing marketing activities.
Events
- Support the planning and delivery of showroom events and key brand moments.
- Assist with event logistics, supplier coordination and on-the-day execution.
- Support event reporting and performance analysis.
Partnership Collaborations
- Support the development and execution of brand partnerships and collaborations.
- Assist with partnership outreach, activation planning and relationship management.
- Research new partnership opportunities aligned with brand objectives.
Influencer & PR Support
- Assist with influencer outreach, gifting and campaign coordination.
- Support media relationships, identify PR opportunities and brand exposure initiatives.
- Maintain influencer and media databases and track campaign activity.
Reporting & Trend Monitoring
- Compile regular marketing reports/campaign performance updates.
- Monitor competitor activity, industry trends and emerging opportunities.
- Offer insights and recommendations to support future marketing activity.
Skills & Experience
- Recent graduates with experience in social media, marketing, content, or brand roles that have at least 1+ year of experience.
- Confident using social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest and LinkedIn from a business or content perspective.
- Hands-on experience with Canva and/or CapCut for video and graphic editing.
- Familiarity with a social media scheduling platform (e.g. Later, Hootsuite or similar).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent written communication skills and a strong instinct for brand tone of voice.
- Proactive, detail-oriented and confident working across a variety of marketing and social media activities.
- Knowledge of or interest in the luxury, fashion, jewellery or lifestyle sector is desirable.
