Full job description

Sales Manager | Luxury Fine Art

Islington | Full-time | OTE £60,000+ | Uncapped Commission + Management Bonus

For ambitious sales professionals, your earning potential is determined by your performance, not a capped commission or bonus scheme.

*****

At Clarendon Fine Art, we don't just sell artwork, we create exceptional experiences and help clients discover pieces they'll treasure for a lifetime.

As the largest gallery group across the UK, US and at Sea, we're looking for ambitious, commercially minded leaders who enjoy developing high-performing sales teams, building exceptional client relationships and driving outstanding commercial results.

This is a commercial management role, not simply a retail management position. If you're motivated by coaching others, growing a successful business and delivering exceptional client experiences, we'd love to hear from you.

*****

You'll thrive in this role if you:

  • Love driving commercial performance and exceeding ambitious targets.
  • Enjoy coaching others to achieve more than they thought possible.
  • Enjoy a hands-on approach to driving both performance and sales.
  • Build strong client relationships whilst developing your team.
  • Are proactive, resilient and commercially curious.
  • Take ownership for the performance of your gallery.

We'd particularly love to hear from you if you've worked in:

Luxury Retail Jewellery Automotive Property Recruitment Travel Hospitality Premium Customer Service Business Development Retail Management Sales Management Client Relationship Management Luxury Brands High-Performance Sales Teams

*****

Before you apply:

This is a career with ambitious commercial targets, significant accountability and exceptional rewards. Is this the right role for you?

Our highest-performing Gallery Managers typically:

✔ Create business opportunities rather than waiting for customers to walk through the door.

✔ Develop high-performing teams through coaching, accountability and clear expectations.

✔ Take ownership for both the commercial performance and culture of their gallery.

✔ Build long-term relationships with clients, local businesses and their communities.

✔ Lead from the front whilst empowering others to succeed.

✔ Make confident commercial decisions using data, insight and experience.

✔ Thrive in a fast-paced environment where every day is different.

✔ Enjoy building successful people as much as building successful sales.

What you'll do

You'll lead a successful gallery by developing your team, growing client relationships and driving commercial performance. You'll:

  • Inspire, coach and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Drive sales performance through proactive leadership and commercial planning.
  • Build relationships with collectors, prospective clients and local businesses.
  • Generate new business through networking, referrals, events and client development.
  • Host exhibitions, private views and exclusive client events.
  • Ensure exceptional client experiences at every stage of the customer journey.
  • Recruit, develop and retain exceptional talent.
  • Take ownership of your gallery's commercial performance and profitability.

What you'll receive

  • Industry-leading uncapped commission and performance incentives.
  • Commission paid monthly and quarterly.
  • Leadership development and management training.
  • 33 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays).
  • Commission paid whilst on holiday.
  • Company pension, employee discounts and Virtual GP.
  • The opportunity to lead one of the world's largest fine art galleries.
