About Bling Buyers

Bling Buyers is a rapidly growing jewellery-buying company holding professional buying events across the UK.

We purchase gold, silver, jewellery, diamonds, watches and other precious items directly from members of the public, providing a professional, friendly and transparent service.

Due to continued expansion, we are looking for an experienced Jewellery & Precious Metal Buyer to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, commercially minded buyer who wants their earnings to reflect their performance.

There is significant, uncapped earning potential within this role. The more successful you are at buying, building rapport with customers and generating profitable purchases, the greater your earning opportunity.

For the right person, there is no fixed ceiling on commission earnings.

We are looking for somebody who is hungry, motivated and confident in their ability — someone who wants to build a highly rewarding career rather than simply earn a basic salary.

IMPORTANT – EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL

This is NOT an entry-level position.

Applicants must already have professional experience within the jewellery, precious metal or jewellery-buying industry.

You must have:

• Minimum 12 months’ professional jewellery/precious metal buying experience
• Strong knowledge of gold, silver and precious metals
• Experience assessing and valuing jewellery
• Confidence dealing directly with customers
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of buying margins
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• The ability to work independently and make buying decisions
• A professional, trustworthy manner
• Verifiable trade references
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel throughout the UK

The Role

You will represent Bling Buyers at buying events across the UK, meeting customers who bring jewellery, precious metals and other valuable items for assessment.

Your responsibilities will include professionally assessing items, explaining valuations to customers, negotiating purchases, accurately recording transactions and ensuring every customer receives an excellent experience.

This is a very customer-facing role, so we are looking for somebody who combines technical buying knowledge with personality, confidence and strong sales ability.
