Full job description

We are looking for a full-time permanent receptionist to join our busy clinic.

The ideal candidate would have at least 1 years of experience working as a receptionist in a busy environment, this needn't be in a Veterinary clinic as this is not an animal handling role. And, should be flexible and able to demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills.

You must be able to manage multiple phone calls and 'in-person' customers simultaneously, putting them on hold or taking their details to call back and prioritising workload. Ability to take and complete instruction as well as be able to work on own initiative when required. Accurate record keeping and excellent computer literacy. You will also require competency in maths and English.

As the face of our business our receptionists are smart, friendly, approachable, calm under pressure, sympathetic and can empathise with our clients.

This is a full time role 42 hours per week (approx) Early shifts 7.45AM - 4.45PM and late shift 9.30 AM to 6.30 PM (this includes one hour for lunch) with alternate Saturday mornings , 8.45 - 12.15.
