Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Guest Service Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for hospitality. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to our diverse clientele. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry while delivering memorable experiences for our guests.

The ideal candidate will be needed for 3 evenings a week, this will include at least 3 weekends a month.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest enquiries via phone, email, or in person
  • Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities
  • Handle guest requests efficiently, ensuring their needs are met to the highest standards
  • Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and reservations
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
  • Uphold hotel policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations
  • Assist in organising guest services such as transportation, dining reservations, or special requests

Skills

  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Ability to speak multiple languages or bilingual proficiency is advantageous
  • Previous experience in hotel or guest services is preferred but not essential
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Friendly demeanour with a professional appearance and attitude
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
