Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. This role offers flexibility and an opportunity to contribute to a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike.

Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
  • Clean and sanitise washrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to high standards
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
  • Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls as needed
  • Use commercial cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively
  • Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning activities
  • Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a secure working environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently within allocated timeframes
  • Good organisational skills and reliability
  • Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties which may involve standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting light equipment or supplies
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
