Job Overview

Support catering events by helping prepare food, serve guests and keep the kitchen and service areas organised. You’ll work as part of a team to deliver a welcoming, efficient experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and assist with food preparation for catering orders.
• Serve food and drinks courteously, responding to guests’ requests.
• Keep kitchen and service areas clean, tidy and compliant with food safety practices.
• Help manage event tasks and timings, and assist with basic stock checks.
• Your impact: Careful preparation and attentive service help guests enjoy a smooth, pleasant catering experience.

Skills

• Food safety awareness and good time management.
• Basic maths skills for portions, counts and simple calculations.
• Restaurant, kitchen or catering experience is useful; food preparation, serving or culinary experience is welcome.
• A helpful manner and confidence communicating with guests.
• Upselling experience is an advantage, but not essential.

Pay: From £25,420.00 per year
