Job Overview

Jephsons Shopfitters is a leading employee-owned shopfitting and interior fit-out contractor, delivering outstanding projects for some of the UK's most recognisable brands, including Costa Coffee, KFC, Taco Bell, Pret A Manger, Starbucks, and many more.

Due to continued business growth, we are seeking experienced and dependable Site Foremen, Site Joiners, and Shopfitters to join our expanding team. Opportunities are available on both a permanent employed basis and for self-employed subcontractors.

About the Role

Working on retail and hospitality fit-out projects across the UK, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality workmanship in all aspects of joinery, including the installation and finishing of laminates, hardwoods, and bespoke fittings.

You will work as part of a two or three-person team, depending on project requirements, collaborating closely with site managers and other trades to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to demanding client deadlines.

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will:

  • Have proven experience within the shopfitting or interior fit-out industry
  • Be confident working independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Be able to interpret and work from technical drawings
  • Be willing to work away from home and travel throughout the UK
  • Be committed to maintaining high standards of health and safety on site
  • Own a full set of professional tools
  • Have access to their own vehicle
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Hold a minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification in Joinery
  • Possess a valid CSCS Card
