Full job description

We are looking for an experienced, reliable and self-motivated Joiner to join the Conic Group, one of Loch Lomond's most ambitious hospitality businesses as we continue to invest in and develop our growing portfolio.

This is a varied role working across our hospitality businesses, commercial properties, residential properties and development projects throughout the Loch Lomond area. You will be involved in a wide range of refurbishment, construction, maintenance and development projects, helping to support the continued growth of the group.

Typical duties will include:

  • First and second fix joinery

  • Installation of doors, windows, skirtings and finishings
  • Kitchens and fitted furniture
  • Flooring and wall linings
  • Roof structures and timber works
  • External cladding, decking and fencing
  • Commercial fit-outs and property refurbishments
  • Working alongside our existing construction and electrical teams

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of projects from start to finish, work independently with minimal supervision, and maintain a high standard of workmanship throughout.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in both first and second fix joinery
  • Strong all-round joinery skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality of finish
  • Good problem-solving abilities

  • A full UK driving licence

The role is typically 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, although some flexibility may occasionally be required to meet business needs.

We offer:

  • Company van and fuel
  • Tools where required
  • Workwear and PPE
  • Competitive salary based on experience

This is a long-term opportunity with a growing family-owned business that has a substantial pipeline of property, refurbishment and development projects.

We envisage this becoming a key role within the business, working closely with and supporting an apprentice joiner as the team develops. Previous experience mentoring, training or supervising apprentices would therefore be highly desirable.
