Cabinet Maker

Ossett, West Yorkshire

  • Full-time, permanent or subcontract opportunity
  • Employed rate: From £16 per hour
  • Subcontract rate: Circa £20 per hour
  • Full-time - Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • Overtime + yearly bonus
  • Immediate start

Cedarwell is a busy bespoke joinery workshop producing one-off pieces for commercial and domestic customers. We are a small, warm and close-knit team looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker who will fit in, share our pride in quality and grow with the business.

The Role

You will take ownership of varied bespoke projects from start to finish, working independently with traditional hand tools and modern workshop machinery.

You will:

  • Produce high-end cabinets, furniture and bespoke joinery
  • Work accurately from drawings and specifications
  • Manufacture laminated pieces
  • Maintain excellent quality and attention to detail
  • Contribute to a supportive, collaborative workshop

About You

You must have:

  • At least five years’ bench joinery experience
  • Cabinet-making, furniture-making or bespoke joinery skills
  • Experience in using workshop machinery and making laminated pieces
  • Your own hand tools
  • The ability to work unsupervised
  • A full driving licence and reliable commute to Ossett

Curved work, fitting and cutting-list experience are desirable.
