Joiner / Carpenter – Wall & Door Protection Installation

About the Role

Harrison Thompson & Co. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and motivated Joiner/Carpenter to join our growing Yeoman Shield Wall & Door Protection installation team.

This role involves the installation of our market-leading range of wall and door protection products across a variety of commercial environments throughout the UK. We are seeking a reliable, skilled individual who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

This is a full-time, permanent position with an immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install Yeoman Shield wall and door protection products to a high standard.
  • Work from technical drawings and specifications.
  • Measure, cut, shape and assemble materials using hand and power tools.
  • Fabricate and fit components accurately and efficiently.
  • Carry out site-based installation work across the UK.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
  • Undertake any training required to support the role.
  • Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in joinery and/or carpentry.
  • Strong practical knowledge of joinery techniques and installation methods.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Competent in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative when required.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 in Joinery/Carpentry (minimum requirement).
  • Valid Skilled CSCS Card.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (must meet motor insurance eligibility criteria requirements)
  • Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away from home Monday to Friday when required.
  • Own hand tools.
