About Spa Communications

We are an award-winning PR, podcasting, social media and creative marketing agency based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

We work with some of the most exciting B2B businesses in AI, data centres, renewables and sustainable technologies — helping them tell stories that inspire change and drive impact.

We’re looking for a passionate and driven PR Account Manager to join our growing team and work with one of our key clients — someone who’s inspired by storytelling, enjoys creating meaningful content, and knows how to connect brands with their audiences through smart, impactful PR.

The Role

As our PR Account Manager, you’ll play a central role in planning, managing and delivering integrated communications campaigns for one of our key B2B technology clients.

Acting as the day-to-day client lead, you’ll be responsible for building strong relationships, managing projects and deliverables, and ensuring campaigns are executed to the highest standard. Working closely with senior team members, you’ll help develop strategic communications plans, coordinate internal resources, manage budgets and timelines, and oversee the successful delivery of PR and marketing activity.

You’ll collaborate with colleagues across PR, social media, creative and digital disciplines, briefing and managing the work of designers, content specialists and junior team members to ensure campaigns are delivered effectively and on brand. While content development forms part of the role, your primary focus will be on campaign management, client service, strategic planning and driving results.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious communications professional who enjoys building trusted client relationships, leading projects and delivering impactful campaigns within a supportive, creative and growing agency environment.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Account Management

· Act as the day-to-day lead for the client account, building strong relationships and delivering an exceptional client experience

· Manage project timelines, budgets, priorities and deliverables, ensuring all activity is delivered on time and to a high standard

· Lead regular client and internal meetings, providing updates, recommendations and performance reporting

· Keep senior stakeholders informed of account performance, opportunities and potential risks.

Campaign Planning & Delivery

· Support the development and execution of integrated PR and communications campaigns aligned to client objectives.

· Coordinate internal teams and external partners to ensure campaigns are delivered effectively and efficiently.

· Monitor campaign performance, evaluate results and identify opportunities to optimise activity.

· Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends, media developments and communications best practice.

Media & Stakeholder Relations

· Build and maintain relationships with relevant journalists, analysts, influencers and industry stakeholders.

· Proactively identify and secure opportunities for media coverage, thought leadership, commentary and speaking engagements.

· Support media outreach, interview coordination and broader reputation-building activity.

Content & Communications

· Oversee the development of high-quality communications materials, including press releases, articles, thought leadership content and campaign assets.

· Ensure all content aligns with client messaging, brand guidelines and campaign objectives.

· Work with subject matter experts and client spokespeople to develop compelling stories and communications programmes.

Skills & Experience

· Minimum of two years' account management experience – ideally in house

· Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to make complex ideas engaging and accessible.

· Strong understanding of storytelling, tone and messaging in a B2B and technology context.

· Confidence in media outreach, pitching and relationship building.

· Proactive, organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

· A collaborative team player who thrives in a creative, fast-paced agency environment.

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You:

· Excel at client services and at both building and maintain relationships.

· Love crafting content that sparks interest and tells a story with purpose.

· Have a curious, creative mindset and a passion for technology, sustainability and innovation.

· Enjoy delivering creative campaigns, and seeing your work make an impact.

· Want to grow your skills across PR, content strategy and digital communications within a supportive, ambitious team.

Why Join Spa Communications?

· Work with cutting-edge clients shaping the future of technology and sustainability.

· Be part of a friendly, collaborative and forward-thinking team where ideas are valued.

· Enjoy opportunities for career development into senior PR, content or strategy roles.

· Regular team socials, creative brainstorms and a supportive agency culture that celebrates growth and creativity.

Career Benefits include:

  • Competitive pay.
  • Health insurance package upon successful completion of probation.
  • 50% off Pure, Virgin Active or Nuffield Health Gyms via Vitality.
  • Hybrid working environment – we permanently offer a policy that encourages our team to mix work from home and office-based working days.
