At Unitel Direct, they are one of the UK’s largest independently owned providers of telecoms, broadband, utilities, mobile, and digital advertising solutions for businesses across the UK. As a fast-growing company, they are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Apprentice to join our team and begin their career within data and business operations.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with an interest in data, administration, and business operations to gain hands-on experience within a supportive and fast-paced environment. You will work alongside experienced professionals while developing valuable analytical and organisational skills through your apprenticeship programme.

As part of the apprenticeship programme, the successful candidate will receive structured training through Baltic Apprenticeships. This includes two-day training blocks every 4-6 weeks, alongside continuous workplace learning and mentoring, allowing the apprentice to build both technical knowledge and practical experience while developing their career in Data.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Data & Business Insight qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:
Cleansing, inputting, and analysing business data

Uploading and managing data within dialler systems

Processing sales information and creating tasks for internal departments

Supporting invoicing processes, including creating invoices, issuing payments, and updating records

Responding to customer emails and supporting complaint handling processes

Maintaining accurate records and ensuring data is up to date

Supporting wider business operations and administration tasks

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge

Interest in data analysis and business operations

Experience using Microsoft Excel

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good written and verbal communication skills

Organised, reliable, and eager to learn

Ability to work well within a team and manage workload effectively

Grade 4/C in both Maths and English (Required)

Salary, Hours & Benefits:
Salary: £15,600 per year

Working Hours January – October Monday – Thursday: 9:30am – 5:00pm Friday: 9:30am – 4:30pm / November – December Monday – Thursday: 9:00am – 5:30pm Friday: 9:00am – 4:30pm

34 days holiday including bank holidays

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in Data. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.
