Full job description

If you’ve ever beaten an escape room with 30 seconds on the clock, we want to talk to you.

UniqueX.com and Real Big Group are both growing fast — and we’re hiring together.

Across our two businesses we’ve noticed something strange: the best people we’ve ever

brought in didn’t come from traditional tech backgrounds. They were top gamers, escape-

room obsessives, and people who could explain a complicated idea over a pint without

losing anyone.

So we stopped pretending experience matters more than it does. Between us we’re hiring

1–2 No-Code Developers to build the tools and automations that make both businesses

run better — and we care more about how you think than what’s on your CV.

About the Role

You won’t be writing traditional code. You’ll be using modern no-code platforms and AI

tools to solve real, often messy, business problems — automating manual work,

connecting systems that don’t talk to each other, and shipping practical solutions quickly.

One week you might automate a finance process that’s been eating four hours of

someone’s Tuesday for years. The next, you might prototype an AI-powered tool for

another team that nobody knew was possible until you built it.

No prior experience is required. This is a genuine entry-level opportunity in a growing

UK company where the work is varied, the problems are real, and your impact is visible

from week one.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

Taking a vague problem (“this process takes me four hours every week”) and turning

it into a working solution

Connecting tools and systems so data flows automatically instead of being copy-

pasted between them

Building internal tools, dashboards, and workflows using no-code platforms

Experimenting with AI to make tasks faster, smarter, or possible for the first time

Debugging things that break — and methodically working out why

Documenting what you’ve built so others can use and maintain it

Who We’re Looking For

Problem-solving is the heart of this role. We want people who can take an unclear

problem, ask the right questions, break it down, and methodically work towards a solution.

You should be comfortable not knowing the answer at the start — most of the job is

figuring things out.

The traits that matter most:

Curiosity — you naturally poke at things to understand how they work

Logical thinking — you can structure an approach to something new

Clear communication — you can explain what you’ve built and why

Persistence — you don’t give up when something doesn’t work the first time

Attention to detail — the difference between “working” and “actually working”

matters to you

If you’re the person in your friend group who reads the rules properly, who spots the

pattern in the puzzle two clues before everyone else, or who fires up a spreadsheet to

settle an argument — keep reading.

Helpful, But Not Required

Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot, and an interest in

applying them to real work

Exposure to any no-code platforms — Zapier, Make, Airtable, Notion, n8n, or

similar

A basic sense of how data moves between systems

Any history of tinkering — personal projects, hobby builds, or odd automations

you’ve made for yourself or your gaming setup

Who Tends to Thrive Here

This role suits people who are early in their career — or changing direction — and who

want to work somewhere that values how you think over what’s on your CV. If you find

yourself naturally trying to make things more efficient, getting curious about how software

works under the hood, or wanting to be part of how businesses use AI rather than

watching from the sidelines, you’ll probably enjoy this.

People who do well here often share one or more of these traits:

They play games seriously — strategy, puzzle, or competitive titles where decisions

matter

They love escape rooms, logic puzzles, or anything that rewards patient thinking

They communicate clearly, especially under pressure

They get a small thrill from making something tedious disappear

Why Join Us

UniqueX.com and Real Big Group are two growing UK businesses that take AI and

automation seriously — not as a buzzword, but as the way modern companies actually

run. You’ll work directly with people across both teams, see the impact of what you build

immediately, and learn faster than you would in almost any traditional graduate role.

Because you’ll be supporting two businesses, the variety is real: one day you might be

wiring up an internal tool for one team, the next you’re prototyping an AI workflow for the

other. You’ll be trusted with real problems on day one, supported when you’re stuck, and

you’ll leave every week having built or fixed something that mattered.
