Who we are ?

Q Management is a property management and refurbishment company based in London. We are looking building out our property maintenance team to assist us in maintaining the properties under management on behalf of landlords, estate agents and homeowners.

For this position we require the following:

  • Valid Drivers licence and have a car/van to be used during work hours
  • Experience in property maintenance for rental properties in low to prime residential properties (which includes Grade 1 and 2 listed properties) - references required

Overview
We are seeking a versatile and proactive General Handyman/woman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad skill set encompassing plumbing, electrical, and maintenance tasks, with the ability to oversee small projects and supervise junior staff. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our facilities through hands-on repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance. Candidates should demonstrate strong organisational skills, excellent communication in English, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Location

Responsibilities

  • Handyman/woman maintenance
  • Basic plumbing - Repairing, replacing taps/ toilets / baths
  • Minor decorative works - internal / external
  • Minor roof works - guttering and pipeworks
  • Correspond with the admin team on work orders / arrival and departure from jobs
  • Provide updates on works to admin team
  • Provide before and after photos of works to the admin team.
  • Ensure all work areas are kept clean, safe, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service when liaising with internal departments or external contractors.
  • Assess work orders from clients and advise the admin team on materials and fittings required for purchase.
  • Assess work orders and to give estimates and attend jobs to provide information for works to be quoted by the admin team.

Requirements

  • Electrical experience including changing light switches/ bulbs / mirror lights/ extractor fans
  • Knowledge of welding techniques and safety procedures.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Supervising or leadership experience is desirable to oversee team members or projects.
  • Customer service orientation with a professional attitude towards colleagues and clients.
  • Mechanical knowledge relevant to building maintenance or industrial environments is essential. This role requires a proactive individual capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Pay: £18.00-£22.50 per hour
