The Role

Dot-The-Eye Ltd are looking to employ a motivated Developer with an interest in web development to join our IT Team.

You will join a small but diverse team of professionals and get involved in all stages of the project lifecycle from meeting clients and discussing their requirements through to designing, developing and supporting bespoke solutions. We are customer focused and our business has been built on our relationships and ability to tailor our services to meet each organisation’s needs.

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of a Web Developer include, but are not limited to:

· Involvement in the design, development and support of web applications/websites

· Maintaining both customer and company SQL databases

· Providing IT support to our customers and other teams in the organisation

· Working flexibly to support the management team and colleagues as required

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Web Developer are:

· Ability to work as part of a small team but able to take on responsibility and work unsupervised as required

· Able to multi-task and deliver projects to varied timescales

· Flexible and willing to accept changes in priorities as necessary

· Imaginative and creative in solving problems

· A critical eye with attention to detail

· A willingness to learn new technologies

Essential Skills

· Knowledge of .NET framework particularly ASP.NET/C# (full stack)

· HTML, CSS, JavaScript

· Working with relational databases such as SQL

Desirable Skills

· Bootstrap or other responsive frameworks

· Source control software e.g., Subversion, GIT etc.
