Overview

Designer Websites is a specialist digital agency creating high-quality bespoke websites, ecommerce platforms and digital solutions for clients across a wide range of industries.

Based in Sully, South Wales, our in-house team includes designers, developers, digital marketers and advertising specialists who work collaboratively to deliver exceptional online experiences. From local SMEs to high-profile national and international brands, we help our clients grow through great design, technology and digital marketing.

We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about digital design, enjoys solving creative challenges, and wants to play a key role in shaping the visual experiences we deliver for our clients.

The Role

As our Graphic Designer, you'll work closely with our development and marketing teams to create engaging website designs, user interfaces, digital marketing assets and brand materials for a diverse portfolio of clients.

We're a Figma-first agency, and you'll be responsible for producing high-quality design work using modern collaborative workflows, design systems and interactive prototypes. You'll have the opportunity to bring fresh ideas, influence creative direction, and help evolve our design processes.

This role is focused on design and creative thinking—you won't be expected to write code or undertake development work.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing bespoke website layouts and user interfaces in Figma. Creating user flows and interactive prototypes
  • Developing and maintaining design systems and component libraries
  • Producing digital marketing assets including social media graphics, display adverts and email visuals
  • Collaborating with developers and marketers to ensure designs are delivered accurately and effectively
  • Presenting concepts and design solutions internally
  • Ensuring brand consistency and high design standards across all projects
  • Managing multiple projects and meeting agreed deadlines

What We're Looking For:

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Commercial experience in a graphic, web or digital design role
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative thinking and attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and modern digital design workflows
  • Experience creating responsive website designs and user interfaces
  • Understanding of UX principles, user journeys and accessibility best practices
  • Strong visual design skills including typography, layout, colour and branding
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and work across multiple projects
  • Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to contribute ideas

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working within a digital agency environment
  • Ecommerce design experience
  • Experience building and maintaining design systems
  • Animation or motion graphics skills
  • Video editing and content creation experience
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as XD, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Understanding of website performance and conversion-focused design principles

Education & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of commercial design experience
