We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Junior IT Technician to join IT team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serving as the first point of contact for IT Support within the organisation
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining software and hardware components of the computer and network systems
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues
  • Repairing and replacing damaged computer and network components
  • Supporting employees whenever they encounter challenges with computers and network devices.
  • Maintaining and updating technical documentation regularly
  • Testing new hardware and software before full-scale installation
  • Maintaining asset inventory
  • Working in the office 5 days a week, no remote working

Must have some knowledge of:

  • Setting up PCs
  • Printers / Plotters
  • Office 365
  • Networking
  • Good at diagnostics on software and hardware
  • Setting up new users (AD, Office 365)
  • DHCP / DNS
  • Exchange Online

Desirable:

  • AD Group Policy Objects
  • Sonicwall – Firewall
  • WIFI Access Points / VPN / Licences servers
  • VLAN’s
  • SQL
  • EPICOR \ Kinetic ERP
