Are you a Master's or PhD-educated Life Sciences graduate looking to turn your scientific knowledge into a career in medical communications? Join an independent, close-knit agency where you can develop your writing skills, work with pharmaceutical clients and progress quickly.
The Company
Based in Berkshire, you will join an independent medical communications agency that supports pharmaceutical brands through strategic and scientifically accurate communications. The team works with well-known organisations in the pharmaceutical industry and takes pride in building strong, lasting client relationships. The Role
As a Junior Medical Writer, you will join a fast-paced medical writing team and play an important role in delivering high-quality communications for pharmaceutical clients. This is a client-facing opportunity where you will work closely with internal teams, account managers and experienced writers while gradually taking greater ownership of your own projects. You will receive support as you develop your scientific writing, project management and client communication skills, creating a strong foundation for a career in medical communications. There is real room to grow, with previous junior hires progressing quickly into more senior writing roles.
Key responsibilities:
- Create clear, accurate and engaging scientific communications for pharmaceutical projects.
- Support internal teams to deliver projects on time and to brief.
- Build positive, long-lasting relationships alongside account management colleagues.
- Take ownership of individual medical writing projects as your confidence grows.
- Develop your understanding of pharmaceutical brands and medical communications.
