Fibre Installation Engineer

We now seek dynamic, ambitious individuals to join our Installations Team.

The Role

You will play a pivotal role in our mission to give the UK faultless broadband with unprecedented speeds. We have a revolutionary, premium, future-proof product that is fairer, faster and flawless for our customer.

  • Be the face of Connect Fibre.
  • Play a key role in giving the best customer experience and installation of full fibre broadband.
  • Deliver Broadband consultations to customers.
  • As an ambassador, you will build a rapport for customers and ‘wow them’ with our product.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and clients.
  • Become expert in our products (excellent training given).
  • Build trust and best practice and customer service.
  • Meet our high standards and company targets.

The Candidate

We’re looking for Installations Engineers who want to become experts in their field. Useful backgrounds include: Experience in installation of full fibre networks, experience with fibre build and customer facing backgrounds.

· Experience with the Openreach Network

· Able to survey and resolve complex overhead and underground installations.

· Knowledge and experience of civils related tasks involving direct in ground cable, soft digs and permits to work.

· Experience in tracking of copper cables using a C.A.T & Genny

· At least one year’s PIA experience

· Knowledge of the network standards set out in CP08 and CP10 advantageous.

· You will be astute, confident, professional, polite, happy working individually and in a team.

· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • A passion for our life changing product and service.
  • Full clean driving licence (Company van provided).
  • DBS required (Provided during onboarding).

*Candidates should be located with a maximum of 45 minutes’ drive from Matlock*
