Job Title: Mid-Level Software Developer

Location: Cardiff Gate
Employment Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Engineering Manager

Role Overview

Creditsafe are seeking a Mid-Level Software Developer with strong experience in AWS, Python, React and .NET to join our growing software development team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable services, cloud-based solutions and our main website.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop software solutions which benefit all collaborators. Delivering high-quality software, participating in architectural discussions, and contributing to continuous improvement of our development offerings are central to this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software solutions using:
  • Frontend: React
  • Backend: Python and .NET
  • Build and maintain APIs.
  • Develop and deploy cloud-native solutions using AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, CloudWatch).
  • Participate in system design and architecture discussions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Develop and support Azure CI/CD pipelines alongside the Platform team.
  • Contribute to code reviews.
  • Ensure security, scalability, and performance best practices are followed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience

  • 2+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Proven experience with:
  • React.js
  • Python
  • .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
  • AWS cloud services
