Clearcare Solutions is a fast-paced and innovative software provider dedicated to delivering exceptional software solutions to the care sector. We are seeking a proactive and talented Automated Quality Assurance Tester to join our growing UK team at our Stafford office.

The Role

You will work within our existing quality assurance team and closely with the development team, playing a key role in advancing our automated testing capabilities. Utilising Playwright, you will be instrumental in the automated and manual verification of new developments, investigation of bugs, and ensuring the robust validation of each version before release. We are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative team setting and is eager to champion automation to contribute to the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Automation: Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts and frameworks using Playwright.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform both automated and manual testing of the web application to ensure functionality, usability, and performance.
  • Issue Tracking: Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using appropriate project management tools.
  • Release Validation: Validate new features and bug fixes before release, ensuring they meet our high quality standards.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, workflows, and CI/CD integration.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in automated software testing, specifically utilising Playwright.
  • Solid foundation in manual testing of web applications and understanding of QA methodologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify edge cases and inconsistencies.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional development team.

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
  • Experience with other automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) as a foundation.
  • Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.
