ABOUT THE ROLE
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities within our growing Occupational Health division. This is a key sales role, based at our Liverpool Head Office, focused on generating new business through proactive prospecting, telephone engagement, and virtual meetings. They will manage their own sales pipeline, engaging with prospective customers and guiding opportunities through the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract award.
This is a hands-on, target-driven role that requires a confident and motivated individual who enjoys opening doors, creating opportunities and delivering the resultant profit margin. A significant proportion of time will be spent contacting prospective customers, identifying decision-makers and presenting appropriate occupational health solutions.
The Business Development Manager will play a vital role in generating workload for our nationwide occupational health teams and mobile division. They will also work collaboratively with other areas of Kays Medical to identify opportunities for cross-selling and introducing additional services where appropriate.
This role requires a resilient, self-motivated and commercially minded person. Previous experience selling occupational health services is advantageous, although candidates with a successful track record in healthcare, wellbeing, or other B2B sales environments will also be considered.
WHY KAYS?
At Kays, our ambition is simple: to become the industry leader in workplace health and wellbeing services—helping every organisation we support perform at its best. We’re building something different — more responsive, more commercially focused, and more aligned to what modern organisations actually need from Occupational Health. This is an opportunity to join a business with real momentum, where your impact will be visible, valued, and directly tied to continued growth.
