Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-time Art & Photography Teacher to inspire and educate students across various age groups. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a creative flair and a background in education to contribute to a vibrant learning environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that foster artistic expression and technical skills, while supporting students' developmental needs. Prior experience working with children and a strong understanding of educational principles are essential for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging art and photography lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and exploration.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, including those requiring special education support.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to promote their artistic growth and confidence.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum content that aligns with educational standards.
  • Manage behaviour effectively, employing behaviour management strategies to ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Assist with organising exhibitions or showcases of student work to celebrate their achievements.
