Full job description

Join the GearForm group and support an employee-owned award-winning enterprise as Group Head of Digital Marketing in our Group Marketing division.

Based in Wadhurst, East Sussex, Nikwax Ltd. and Páramo Ltd. are thriving outdoor brands brought to life by a close-knit, supportive, and dedicated team. We pride ourselves on creating a positive working environment where people can do their best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Alongside competitive benefits, we offer a flexible hybrid working model that combines home and office-based working. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our growing Group and contribute to two purpose-driven brands with a strong heritage and ambitious future.

Nikwax is a leading manufacturer of care products and material systems for outdoor clothing, footwear, and equipment. Working closely with our trusted Partners, we develop and manufacture our products in-house, ensuring exceptional quality and innovation. Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We are proud to be the only outdoor company to have received the Queen's Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development, and in 2026 we have been honoured with a King's Award for the same. Since our founding in 1977, we have remained committed to minimising our environmental impact and have maintained carbon-balanced operations throughout our history.

Páramo creates durable, high-performance clothing for people who enjoy spending time outdoors, helping them stay comfortable in all weather conditions and environments. Beyond designing quality products, we are deeply committed to ethical manufacturing and social responsibility. In 2022, we integrated the management of our Miquelina Foundation factory in Bogotá, Colombia into our central operations. Our garments are manufactured there by a highly skilled team, with every product carrying the Fair Trade label. Through this partnership, we have helped provide meaningful employment opportunities for individuals seeking to build more secure and independent futures, creating a positive impact that extends far beyond our products.

The Role

Improve the Group’s website and digital marketing performance by leading and enhancing the digital marketing strategy, developing a commercially focused website proposition, defining and implementing a CRM strategy, and continuously monitoring on-site and off-site performance. Provide data-driven recommendations and ongoing improvements to the Group’s leadership team.

This Role Involves

  • Collaborating with agency partners to ensure the websites remain commercially focused, user-centric and aligned with brand standards
  • Working closely with the Chief Marketing Officer and Director of IT & Web Services to develop and implement the global CRM and loyalty strategy, including customer segmentation and differentiated programmes for new and returning customers
  • Monitoring, benchmarking and optimising SEO, SEM and website performance to identify opportunities for both short-term gains and long-term growth
  • Setting and managing monthly and seasonal e-commerce marketing budgets to deliver online growth targets agreed with the Chief Marketing Officer
  • Leading key e-commerce sales initiatives and working cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales and Product teams to ensure alignment of objectives, campaigns and tactics across all channels
  • Producing monthly website and sales performance analyses, delivering clear insights and recommendations to the Chief Marketing Officer, and using data to identify opportunities, address performance gaps and drive continuous improvement
  • Managing and developing the Head of Content & Copy, Digital Marketing Executive and Group Team Assistant, ensuring objectives, responsibilities and performance expectations are consistently achieved
  • Continuously evaluating website propositions against customer expectations, conducting competitor benchmarking, and monitoring e-commerce trends and digital innovations to inform strategic recommendations
  • Building and managing relationships with key marketing partners to support customer acquisition, conversion and revenue growth
  • Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure priorities remain aligned, projects are delivered efficiently and business objectives are achieved.

You Will Have

  • Experience as a commercial marketing leader with hands on experience driving digital revenue growth and managing both acquisition strategies and end-to-end campaign delivery
  • Expertise in digital marketing tools as Google Ads, Google Analytics, META on site analytics and email marketing platforms with the ability to develop strategies across all digital platforms to drive growth and revenue
  • A strong aptitude in digital marketing across CRM, Paid Search, Paid Social, and SEO, together with proven experience with digital transformation initiatives
  • The ability to turn insights into actions quickly and effectively, delivering measurable results at pace, whilst being calm, proactive and always looking for ways to improve business performance
  • Proven experience as a confident leader with 3 – 5 years’ experience of managing a team
  • Degree-qualified (BA/MA) in Marketing, Business or a related discipline, with at least 5 years’ experience in a digital marketing role.
