Design Lead – Kitchens & Interiors

Dual Site | Full Time | Competitive Salary + Bonus

Are you an experienced Kitchen or Interior Designer ready to step into a more influential leadership role — while still staying hands-on creatively?

This is a rare opportunity to join a highly respected premium interiors brand as a Design Lead, taking ownership of two beautiful showroom locations and leading from the front across inspiring kitchen and whole-home projects.

We’re looking for someone with a strong background in kitchen, bathroom or interiors design who loves both the creative and commercial side of the customer journey — and who naturally enjoys mentoring, coaching and bringing the best out of a team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading the creative direction across two showroom locations
  • Play a key role in developing the in-store design team, supporting designers and advisors through coaching, mentoring and day-to-day leadership.
  • Oversee the complete customer design journey — from initial consultation through to final sign-off — delivering beautifully considered spaces.
  • Designing exceptional kitchens and whole-home interior solutions
  • Managing high-value and more complex customer projects
  • Building long-term relationships with customers through a consultative approach
  • Ensuring all projects meet technical, safety and brand standards
  • Driving design pipeline performance and commercial results
  • Collaborating with wider regional and central teams

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience within kitchen, bathroom or interior design
  • Strong customer-facing design experience
  • Experience supervising, mentoring or leading a team
  • Confident using CAD design software such as AutoCAD, AutoKitchen, 2020 or similar
  • Excellent space planning and technical design ability
  • Commercial awareness with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence

Perfect for a Senior Kitchen Designer, Interior Designer or Design Supervisor ready for the next step in their career

Pay: £40,000.00-£47,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
