Overview
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Kitchen Sales Designer to join our showroom team in Guildford. The role involves meeting clients, designing bespoke kitchens, carrying out site surveys, and managing the project through the sales process.

Applicants must have experience using Winner Design Software and must be confident carrying out kitchen site surveys. This role requires someone who can work independently and produce accurate designs and measurements from the start.

In addition to design and sales, we are looking for someone who can contribute to growing the business through marketing and bringing in new opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, ambitious showroom team and play an important role in the development of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to understand their requirements, style preferences, and project budget
  • Design kitchens using Winner Design Software and produce accurate plans and visual presentations
  • Carry out site surveys to take accurate measurements and assess installation requirements
  • Present design proposals clearly and professionally to clients
  • Guide customers through selecting materials, finishes, appliances, and accessories
  • Upsell additional products where appropriate to maximise project value
  • Manage appointments and maintain strong communication with clients throughout the sales process
  • Maintain organised records of designs, quotes, and customer interactions
  • Work closely with suppliers and installers to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Assist with marketing activities such as social media, showroom promotion, and attracting new customers
  • Help identify opportunities to grow the business

Requirements

  • Proven experience using Winner Design Software (essential)
  • Experience carrying out kitchen site surveys and taking accurate measurements
  • Previous experience working in a kitchen showroom or kitchen sales role
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Good maths skills for measurements and quotations
  • Strong customer service and sales ability
  • Ability to work in a team
