Full job description

We’re looking for butchers or apprentice butchers to join the Notting Hill Fish+Meat team on a full-time basis,

We want hard working all-rounders capable of contributing to all areas of the team. Initially you will expected to learn and contribute to:

- Merchandising of the counter display, front windows and in-store dry ager

- Excellent customer service and relations with our valued customers, retail and wholesale

- In depth product knowledge and/or the willingness to learn

- Preparation of customer orders placed in store and online

If you are not already capable of doing so, in time you will learn and carry out all aspects of butchery including:

- Breakdown of animals from carcass to retail cuts, or willingness and aptitude to learn

- Creative ideas for new product development and utilising trim and offcuts

- Making sausages and thinking of new sausage recipes

- Liaising with the kitchen team about house-made meat products

We are an industry leading business with a culture like no other, offer excellent rates of pay and are looking for someone to work 5 days across a 7 day week, including either Saturday or Sunday.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: £31,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
