Join our dynamic team as a Kitchen Fitter Assistant and be a vital part of transforming spaces into functional, stylish kitchens! In this energetic role, you will support experienced kitchen fitters by preparing work sites, handling tools, and assisting with installation tasks. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on construction experience while working alongside skilled tradespeople. Duties

  • Assist with measuring, cutting, and preparing materials using hand tools and power tools to ensure precise fitting.
  • Support the installation of kitchen units, cabinets, countertops, and appliances under supervision.
  • Help with site preparation including clearing work areas and organizing materials for efficient workflow.
  • Maintain safety standards by adhering to health and safety protocols during all tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and uphold quality standards.

Skills

  • Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, drills, hammers, and screwdrivers; familiarity with power tools is a plus.
  • Ability to follow instructions carefully while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills on-site.
  • Prior construction experience or vocational training in relevant trades is advantageous but not required.
