We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Joiner/Kitchen Fitter to join our dynamic construction team. We are a small all trades company with a high drive. You will be involved in many different aspects of joinery not only kitchens as we have such a wide range of contracts that need different joinery skills.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team and work on diverse projects, from bespoke installations to large-scale refurbishments, all while honing your skills in a fast-paced, energetic environment. from wet rooms to office fit out to fire doors to fire damaged houses to high end German kitchens. We also work away 3 or 4 times a year, these jobs are pretty much around 3 week projects carrying out fit outs for one of our major clients around Scotland and the North of England

Responsibilities

Measure, cut, assemble, and install kitchen cabinets, countertops, and related fixtures with accuracy and attention to detail
have a full range of battery power tools
Work closely with your fellow workmen must have the ability to listen and take direction
Perform all carpentry tasks including framing, first fix joinery suspended ceilings, second fit joinery, fit fire doors, and finishing off kitchen units and fit integrated appliances
Carry out heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation processes
be willing to learn with enthusiasm and work with others is a must
Maintain a clean, organized workspace throughout each project phase to promote safety and efficiency and work with others to clean up at end of job for hand over as part of a team

Skills

Proven experience in assembly and installation of kitchen cabinetry and all first and second fix joinery
Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, chisels, drills, screwdrivers; familiarity with power tools including routers and sanders etc.
Strong carpentry and joinery skills with an eye for detail and quality craftsmanship
Ability to perform all joinery tasks is a plus for versatile project support
Physical strength for heavy lifting and manual labor required during installation processes
knowledge of health ansd safety and carry cscs card up to date
Good understanding of health & safety regulations relevant to construction sites
