Full job description

WAYS FM is a growing family-run Facilities Management and Maintenance company providing reactive maintenance, planned works, shop fitting, refurbishments and projects across the UK.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Joiner / Shop Fitter to join our team.

The Role

You will be involved in a wide variety of projects including:

  • Shop fitting and retail fit-outs
  • Internal refurbishments and maintenance works
  • Installation of bespoke joinery and furniture
  • Maintenance and repair works across commercial properties
  • Small project delivery and site coordination
  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors and suppliers on-site
  • Ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and to a high standard
  • Site management on larger projects

Essential Skills & Experience

✅ Joinery qualification or proven trade experience
✅ Shop fitting experience
✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✅ Strong attention to detail and workmanship
✅ Full UK Driving Licence
✅ Willingness to travel and occasionally work out of hours when required

Desirable Skills & Experience

⭐ Plumbing experience (preferred but not essential)
⭐ Site management or supervisory experience (preferred but not essential)
⭐ Experience working within retail, commercial or FM environments
⭐ Knowledge of health & safety requirements on construction sites

Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
