Full job description

Paragon Resource Solutions are currently working in partnership with a large social housing contractor who are recruiting for experienced kitchen fitters on their planned works programme covering the Peterborough, Wisbech, Boston & Kings Lynn areas.

Working hours are Monday - Friday 8-5pm.

Key objectives of role:

- To carry out and assist with all trade related tasks as a Kitchen/Bathroom Fitter working as part of a customer focused team ensuring the properties are repaired, adapted and refurbished to a high standard.

Main responsibilities -

- To be responsible for the effective and efficient repairs of all Kitchen Fitting duties including all associated works within both occupied and void properties
using the required tools.

- To assess and carry out accurate planned repairs efficiently and effectively.

- To ensure that the work is undertaken in a timely manner, whilst maintaining a
high standard of workmanship and excellent customer service.

- To manage customer enquiries, responding in a professional manner

In this role you will have the following duties:

  • The full installation of kitchen upgrades.
  • The ability to read drawings.
  • Basic decorating skills.
  • Ceramic tiling.
  • Plumbing.

This is a mobile engineer role covering housing association properties in the Peterborough, Wisbech & Boston areas.

PAYE and CIS options available and could lead to full time work or long term sub-contracting opportunities for the right individual.

Please note you will be required to drive to multiple different places of work. Some mileage allowance available.

Applications are welcomed for this role from those with a minimum of either full trade apprenticeship or NVQ Level 2 within a relevant trade OR a proven track record to reflect appropriate trade experience with bathroom modification.
