The Opportunity

Sculleries of Stockbridge design, manufacture, and install some of the most beautiful bespoke furniture projects imaginable. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Trainee/Junior Installer to join our enthusiastic and focused team.

The Role

As a trainee/Junior installer, you will be responsible for assisting with the installations at site.

  • Master Craftsmanship: Assisting the team installing bespoke, handmade kitchen and furniture to exacting standards of quality and longevity.
  • Project Precision: Learning how to interpret complex architectural drawings and design details to ensure a flawless fit and finish on every project. Supporting the installation team throughout the process by maintaining a tidy, organised, and safe working environment, assisting installers at every stage, and taking exceptional care when handling high-value furniture, materials, and equipment. Demonstrating respect for clients' homes and properties at all times, working carefully and professionally to protect both client belongings and the quality of our installations.
  • Client Representation: Acting as a professional ambassador for the brand while working in some of the finest homes in the Central Belt and beyond.
  • Logistics: Working hard to assist the team, managing your workflow effectively, primarily within the Central Belt, with the flexibility to travel and stay away for projects further afield when required.

Requirements

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years’ onsite experience is essential.
  • Attributes: You must be highly motivated, hard working, practical, forward thinking, tidy when working, listen to instructions and work independantly.
  • Licensing: A full UK driving licence is required to operate the company vehicle.
  • Travel: You should be willing to travel for work and stay away from home when required. While we predominantly operate within the Central Belt of Scotland, our work can take place across Scotland and occasionally further afield.
