Full job description
Marsh & Co. is a full service interior design business and manufacturer of bespoke furniture, curtains, blinds, upholstered furniture and soft furnishings based in South & West Yorkshire.
Due to our continual expansion we are now recruiting for an experienced kitchen, bespoke cabinetry and bedroom fitter to join our highly motivated team working in people’s homes on high end installations.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE THAT CAN
- Remove existing furniture for installation of new fitted kitchens, bedrooms and bespoke media units to a high standard in a residential environment.
- Show the ability to survey design briefs and measure accurately for all types of bespoke cabinetry installations.
- Install a wide range of bespoke cabinetry, kitchens and bedrooms in a range of materials from CAD drawings and 3D Visuals.
- Assist with all second fix joinery work including bespoke panelling, installing, doors, skirting boards, architraves, upholstered headboards, curtains and blinds.
- Work on their own initiative and have a positive approach to interior design installations and working in peoples homes.
- Have a diverse set of DIY skills including decorating, joinery and electrical work.
- Become a valued member of our design team and be prepared to help with all areas of this growing interior design and renovation business.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Experience in joinery, ideally fitted furniture installation with a minimum of 5 years experience.
- High standard of workmanship and good attention to detail.
- Good timekeeping and ability to work to timelines and priorities work schedules.
- Must have a "can do" positive attitude.
- Full driving licence essential and have own tools.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Basic understanding of other trades.
