START TIME 3:30am – 12.30pm

MUST HAVE PREVIOUS HANDS-ON BAKERY EXPERIENCE!

As a Bakery Manager, you’ll be leading our dedicated team to produce an exciting range of hand-rolled bagels, filled & glazed doughnuts, and other baked goods that are freshly made each day for our retail operation.

You’ll play a key role in overseeing daily production, maintaining consistency and quality across every product, and supporting new product development as the business continues to expand. This is a hands on position for someone who enjoys being actively involved in the da -to day running of a busy bakery while leading and motivating a talented team.

You’ll work closely with the operations team and our retail sites to ensure efficient planning, smooth communication, and seamless coordination between production and store operations.It’s an excellent opportunity for a seasoned and experienced baker or manager who’s ready to take the next step in their career and make a real impact within a growing, creative and ambitious bakery business.

Main Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the daily running of the bakery, ensuring efficient production and consistently high quality output.

Lead, support, and develop the bakery team, allocating tasks and maintaining clear communication across all shifts.

Coordinate production schedules to meet daily and seasonal business needs, ensuring all targets and delivery times are achieved.

Ensure full compliance with Food Safety, Health & Safety, and EHO standards.

Manage staffing levels, recruitment, and training, maintaining a positive, safe, and compliant work environment.

Oversee cleaning schedules and uphold hygiene and operational standards at all times. Monitor ingredient usage, wastage, and stock rotation to maintain efficiency and reduce costs. Liaise regularly with senior management and store teams to ensure alignment between bakery output and retail requirements.

Support product development and the rollout of new menu items and seasonal launches.

Undertake any other duties that contribute to the effective day to day running of the bakery.Person SpecificationWe’re looking for someone confident, organised, and passionate about food, quality, and teamwork.You should:

Have experience managing or supervising a small production or bakery team.

Be motivated by achieving great results and maintaining consistent standards.

Have a thorough understanding of Food Safety, Health & Safety, and EHO compliance.

Be confident managing rotas, delegating tasks, and supporting staff development.

Be enthusiastic about new product creation and continuous improvement.

Be reliable, proactive, and flexible in your approach to work.

Communicate well and work calmly under pressure.

Experience in larger production bakeries or patisserie environments is beneficial, but not essential, we value initiative, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for what we do.
