Job Summary

We 're looking for a passionate and organized Kitchen Manager to lead the kitchen at the popular Muddy Boots cafe & bistro set in the beautiful village of Harewood.

In this role, you'll oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that food preparation and safety standards are consistently met.

You'll need a good understanding of the financial implications of kitchen management ensuring stock levels, portion sizes, wastage and target gross profit margins are inline with company expectations.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a management position in a busy restaurant, cafe or catering setting, with a background in cooking, food safety, and kitchen management.

Muddy Boots Cafe & Bistro

Muddy Boots is a busy and bustling 7 day a week cafe based in the village of Harewood, surrounded by the beautiful unspoilt countryside of the Harewood House Estate and its stunning walks. The cafe acts as the start and end point for many of these walks.

The cafe has been wholly owned by the Harewood Food & Drink Project since 2018 during which time it has seen rapid growth and development in its offer and reputation.

For planning for the year ahead we're expecting another busy year with plans for increasing our evening trade as well as continuing to strive to improve all areas of the cafe.

This role presents a great opportunity for someone to join an ambitious and driven team who want to be the very best that they can.

This role offers a great work life balance with 40-45 hour weeks and the majority of evenings off.
