Full job description

The Kitchen Assistant Supervisor supports the operation of the kitchen by supporting the supervisor and act at interim when it needs ,ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality.

Responsibilities

- Assist the Chefs to prepare superbe recipe and maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen equipment

- receiving and checking our ingredients

- collect ingredients and raw materials in the stock room

- Provide guidance and training to new or junior team members

- Ensure staff follow company procedures and food safety standards.

- Keep the area clean and work under the health and safety policy

- follow food and safety procedure of traciability.

- Support temperature monitoring and recording procedures.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Ensure compliance with Food Safety, HACCP, and hygiene regulations.

- Knowledge in certification standards like BRC, M&S

- Support stock rotation using FIFO (First In First Out) procedures.

- Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate

- Previous supervisory experience

- Experience in food manufacturing or large-scale food production

Working hours:

9pm- 6:30am. 30 minutes unpaid break. 5 days/week. Sunday night to Thursday night.
