Job Overview

Talented Chef De Partie required for a popular and extremely busy English country pub located on the South Downs close to Goodwood.

We are looking for an experienced, reliable , talented & ambitious Chef to join our friendly and professional kitchen team, who can start on an immediate basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring consistency and adherence to food safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a genuine interest in culinary arts to develop their skills and contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Shared staff accommodation available.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Assist in the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen area
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
  • Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
  • Maintain stock levels and notify management of shortages or equipment issues
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Assist with meal preparation during busy periods, supporting overall kitchen efficiency

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
