As we expand our operations, we are seeking an enthusiastic and creative individuals to join our team as a Cake Decorator/Baker.

Job Title: Cake Decorator/Baker

Location: Candy’s Cupcakes, Ashton-under-Lyne

Position Type: Full-time

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4 pm (32.5 hours total - with overtime during seasonal/busy periods)

Responsibilities:

  • Decorate cupcakes, cakes, brownies and more with precision and creativity.
  • Bake cupcakes, cakes and other baked treats as required.
  • Preparing packaging and organising orders.
  • Ensure proper packaging and presentation of baked goods.
  • Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
  • Adhere to food hygiene standards and follow safety protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively with the team to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Contribute to creating a positive customer experience through high-quality products.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in cake / cupcake decorating is essential.
  • Previous experience in baking is essential.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene practices (Food Hygiene Level 2 preferred).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Interest in cake/cupcake decorating and a passion for creating visually appealing baked goods.
  • Familiarity with gluten-free, free-from, and vegan products is an advantage.

Package:

  • Salary £12.71 per hour
  • Full-time, Monday - Friday 8 am - 4 pm (32.5 hours total)
