Full job description

Chef de Partie – All Things Nice Marple

Salary: Competitive (depending on experience) + Excellent Benefits

Location: Marple Bridge

Looking for a Kitchen You Can Be Proud Of?

We're looking for a talented Chef de Partie to join the team at All Things Nice Marple

If you love cooking with fresh ingredients, care about quality and want to work somewhere that values its people as much as its food, we'd love to hear from you.

This isn't a kitchen where everything comes out of a packet, and it's not somewhere you'll be asked to cut corners.

We're an independent business with high standards, a fantastic team and a loyal customer base who appreciate good food done properly.

About All Things Nice

We are a neighbourhood bakery, café and bar in the heart of Marple.

By day we're known for exceptional breakfasts, brunches, artisan baking and speciality coffee. By night we transform into a relaxed wine bar serving seasonal small plates and sharing dishes.

Everything we do is built around quality ingredients, great hospitality and genuine attention to detail.

The Role

You'll work closely with our Head Chef and wider kitchen team to deliver consistently excellent food across every service.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Running your section with confidence and consistency
  • Preparing and cooking fresh, seasonal food
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
  • Supporting with prep and service across breakfast, lunch and evening service
  • Helping train and support junior members of the team
  • Ensuring dishes leave the kitchen exactly as they should every time
  • Taking pride in keeping your section organised and service-ready

Who We're Looking For

We're much more interested in attitude than ego.

You'll ideally have experience as a Chef de Partie or be an ambitious Commis Chef ready to take the next step.

You'll be someone who:

  • Takes genuine pride in their work
  • Enjoys working with fresh ingredients
  • Thrives in a busy kitchen environment
  • Is organised, reliable and works well as part of a team
  • Wants to learn, improve and develop their skills
  • Understands the importance of consistency and following established systems

If you care about producing great food every service, you'll fit in well here.

Why Join Us?

We genuinely believe hospitality can be a great career when people are looked after properly.

That's why we offer:

  • Competitive pay
  • Performance-related bonus opportunities
  • Generous staff discount across our businesses
  • Free meals on shift
  • Unlimited tea, coffee and soft drinks whilst working
  • Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day off every year
  • A sensible approach to work-life balance
  • Structured training and development
  • Opportunities to progress as the business continues to grow
  • A supportive management team that wants to see people succeed
  • The chance to work with a talented team who genuinely care about what they do

A Final Word

We're not looking for someone who just wants another job.

We're looking for someone who enjoys being part of a close-knit team, takes pride in every plate they send and wants to build a career with an independent business that's continuing to grow.

If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today with your CV and tell us a little about yourself.
