Overview

Mainly daytime shifts, busy town centre independent.

Breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea. Functions, outside catering.

Worked over 5 or 6 days including saturdays. Generally closed Sundays
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and service delivery
  • Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met
  • Manage daily kitchen operations, including scheduling, inventory control, and maintaining cleanliness in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Develop and implement creative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to guest preferences
  • Train and mentor junior staff to enhance their skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and customer service
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain accurate documentation for health inspections
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to coordinate service times and optimise guest satisfaction
  • Monitor stock levels, order supplies as needed, and minimise waste through effective stock management

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a professional kitchen environment
  • Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food production and preparation
