Full job description

The role is split in two, a cleaner and a kitchen hand.

The cleaning of the pub takes approximately two hours each Saturday and Sunday morning. It involves cleaning all customer areas of the pub to prepare it ready for service.

The kitchen hand role encompasses a range of duties involving the preparation, cooking and serving of basic hot and cold food to customers. The successful applicant will be expected to:

  • Make a selection of bread rolls
  • Safely cook and hot-hold locally sourced pies
  • Operate deep fat fryers for cooking chips
  • Plating up and serving food items to customers
  • Washing up and cleaning down of kitchen
  • Maintaining food hygiene levels within the kitchen including all relevant FSA paperwork

The successful applicant will be expected to work Friday evenings (until 9pm) and Saturday and Sunday mornings until mid-afternoon and also bank holidays. Previous experience is preferred but not necessary as training can be provided.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
