Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Kitchen Porter to join our busy hospitality team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchen, ensuring a smooth operation and high standards of hygiene. Duties

  • Washing, cleaning, and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, and pans to ensure they are ready for us
  • Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment throughout service periods
  • Supporting the kitchen staff with general duties to facilitate efficient service
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times to uphold hygiene standards
  • Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with company policies

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations within restaurants, hotels, or similar establishments is desirable
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
