Job Title: Baker - Cake Kitchen

Location: North East London

Salary: £36,000 per annum

Hours: 45 hours, 5 days/week, with at least one weekend day

We’re hiring an experienced Cake Baker to work in our cake team! We’re looking for a focused, organised and talented baker, who can bring both passion and technical skills.

At FINK’S we're all about showcasing seasonality, passion and exceptional quality through our baking. We make all of our own cakes and pastries for our 5 retail sites, as well as supply our commercial kitchens locally, just up the street at Mountgrove Road and at our cafe and takeaway site in Clissold Park. You’ll join a team of other passionate bakers who are in the industry to continue learning and bettering their skills in the field of pastry.

You will work with our Head of Sweet to execute classic FINK’S recipes to a high standard, and work with top suppliers like SHRUB Provisions, Natoora, Wildfarmed Flours and Estate Dairy. We are a growing company, whose goals include growing our retail range, supplying 5 locations with a wider selection of our bakery menu.

We work hard, we make delicious food and we have a lot of fun. Striking the balance of those 3 things are at the core of what working at FINK’S is all about.

What you’ll be doing:

- Working in the cake team

- Supporting the team with prep and bakes

- Getting hands-on with mixing and decorating

- Keeping a clean, efficient and well-organised workstation

- Helping to maintain high standards and consistency

The ideal candidate:

- One year experience minimum in a professional bakery kitchen

- Curious, reliable, and excited to learn new techniques

- Passionate about great ingredients, precision and flavour

- Comfortable with early starts and fast-paced environments

- A positive team player who’s up for a challenge

Pay: £36,000.00 per year
