Senior WordPress Developer

What do we need?

We’re looking for an experienced Senior WordPress Developer to join our growing development team.

This is a hands-on technical role where you’ll be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining bespoke WordPress websites and web applications while mentoring junior developers and working closely with clients throughout the project lifecycle.

You’ll be expected to take ownership of projects, contribute to technical strategy and help drive the adoption of AI-assisted development across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical delivery of bespoke WordPress websites and applications.
  • Develop custom WordPress themes, plugins and Gutenberg blocks.
  • Produce clean, maintainable and well-documented code.
  • Build responsive, accessible and high-performance websites.
  • Work collaboratively with designers, project managers and clients.
  • Mentor and support junior developers.

  • Attend client meetings and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
