We're seeking a NextJS Developer to join our growing technical team in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work on modern, scalable web applications using React and NextJS within a hybrid working environment. As a mid-level developer, you could contribute meaningfully to application architecture, code quality and team delivery while continuing to develop your expertise in full-stack JavaScript development.

This contract role offers the chance to work with a collaborative development team delivering contemporary web solutions. You would be based in Worcester, Worcestershire, working on a hybrid basis, contributing to projects that leverage modern JavaScript frameworks and cloud infrastructure. What you could bring

Most roles of this type require the following:

Must-have

  • 5–10 years of professional software development experience
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and hands-on experience with React and/or NextJS
  • Experience building and consuming APIs
  • Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development workflows
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • Authorization to work in the United Kingdom

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes or containerization
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices
  • Meta Front-End Developer Certificate, JavaScript Certification (JSE), or freeCodeCamp Front End Libraries (React)
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first styling frameworks
  • Competency in SQL and relational database design
