We're looking to expand our engineering capabilities with a NextJS Developer to join our team. This is an opportunity to register your interest in future NextJS Developer roles within our technology practice, positions that could support the delivery of modern, scalable web applications across our client base.

  • Experience: 5–10 years in front-end or full-stack development

What you would do

Typical responsibilities could include:

  • Developing responsive, performant web applications using NextJS and React
  • Writing clean, maintainable JavaScript code that meets established standards
  • Collaborating with designers, product managers and backend engineers to translate requirements into working solutions
  • Contributing to code reviews and sharing best practices with the wider team
  • Participating in sprint planning, standups and retrospectives in an agile workflow
  • Troubleshooting and optimizing application performance, including API integration and data handling
  • Supporting the deployment and monitoring of applications in production environments

What you could bring

Most roles of this type require the following:

Must-have

  • 5–10 years of professional development experience, with strong expertise in React and JavaScript
  • Proficiency in NextJS, including server-side rendering, static generation and API routes
  • Solid understanding of modern web standards, responsive design and accessibility
  • Experience working in agile teams and collaborating across disciplines
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
  • Authorization to work in the United Kingdom

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with TypeScript, REST APIs or GraphQL
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
  • Meta Front-End Developer Certificate, JavaScript Certification (JSE) or similar credentials
  • Experience with testing frameworks, performance optimization or web security best practices
