Our client, Soultree Ltd(SOOM), a modern Korean BBQ restaurant in the heart of Covent Garden, offering a refined yet welcoming Korean dining experience built on quality food, thoughtful service, and strong team culture.

SOOM is looking for friendly, enthusiastic, and motivated Waiting Staff to join their Front of House team. This role is ideal for anyone looking to develop their career in hospitality, with clear opportunities to progress into Supervisor or Manager positions. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Job Summary

Join SOOM - a recently opened, modern Korean BBQ Restaurant in the heart of London’s Covent Garden

We offer a unique Korean dining experience centred around authentic, quality food and warm hospitality.

1. Language Skills

  • English : Able to communicate in all situations
  • Korean : Preferred
  • Chinese/Japanese/Vietnamese/Thai : Preferred

2. What you'll be doing

  • Welcoming guests and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Explaining menus and assisting with food and drink selections
  • Taking orders and serving food and beverages
  • Handling payments and closing bills
  • Supporting smooth day-to-day restaurant operations
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation across the restaurant
  • Assisting with opening and closing procedures
  • Completing ad hoc administrative tasks (e.g. basic data input, organising paperwork)
  • Following all company policies and standards

3. Experience

  • No prior experience required – full training provided
  • Experience in a Korean restaurant or similar hospitality environment is a plus

4. Requirements

  • Polite, friendly, and professional attitude
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to stay calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment
  • Good timekeeping and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must have the Right to Work in the UK

6. Other working conditions

  • Shift: 4-hour, 8-hour, and 10-hour shifts / Day and evening shifts
  • Work Visa Holders of a visa that allows them to work legally in the UK
  • Starting from£12.71 per hour + Service Charge + Tips (negotiable based on the experience)
  • Recruitment: Full-time and Part-Time
  • Working hours: 20 to 50 hours a week
  • Schedule: 2-5 days a week including Weekends
  • Holiday: For 5 working days, 28 days including Bank Holiday

7. Recruitment Process

  • 2nd: Interview (comprehensive evaluation of skills required for job performance through interview and foreign language evaluation)
