The Role
ALS Laboratories are looking for a Laboratory Technician to support their team at ALS Trowbridge.
The successful candidate will be testing a diverse range of finished food products and associated ingredients using a variety of analytical techniques and support our sample receipt department on weekends.
This role requires someone who has a meticulous eye for detail and can follow processes and procedures. Do you have the skills required, if so, please read on!
About the Position
Days Per Week: Tuesday to Saturday (12:30pm - 9pm)
Contract: Full Time and Fixed Term (until January 2028)
Annual Salary: £26,867
The Day to Day
- To perform analysis allocated in accordance with documented methodology
- Follow all processes and procedures to maximise role efficiency.
- Conduct daily quality control checks and calibrations of equipment
- Ensure your workstation is always clean and tidy.
- To conform with all site Quality Management systems and Health and safety procedures and protocols.
- To keep accurate records.
The Essentials
- Previous experience working in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to read, understand and implement instructions accurately is vital.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Keen eye for detail
- Possess excellent time management skills.
- Methodical in your approach
