You will play a key role in ensuring laboratory equipment is appropriately qualified, calibrated, maintained and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the onboarding, qualification and testing of new laboratory equipment.
  • Coordinating calibration, servicing and preventative maintenance activities.

  • A degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related scientific discipline.
  • Previous experience working within a GMP-regulated laboratory environment.
  • Proven experience in laboratory equipment calibration, maintenance and qualification.
  • Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation such as HPLC, UPLC, GC, balances, titrators, dissolution equipment or similar.
  • A good understanding of metrology principles and calibration standards.
  • Strong documentation, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting equipment deviations, investigations and CAPAs would be advantageous.
  • Additional knowledge of DSC, PXRD, SEM or TOC instrumentation would be beneficial.

What's on Offer?

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Opportunities for ongoing training and professional development.
  • The chance to take ownership of a technically varied laboratory instrumentation function.
  • A supportive working environment within an established pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.

If you're currently working within laboratory calibration, equipment qualification, QC or instrumentation and would like to explore a new opportunity, I'd be keen to speak with you.
