Overview

Know How Resourcing are proud to be representing our client who are based in Skipton to recruit for an QC Analyst.

Please note, this is a 3 month role, there is an option for this to be extended depending on company needs after the original 3 months.

Work hours are the following shifts:

  • 05:30am – 2:00pm - £14.64
  • 08:00am – 4:30pm - £13.68
  • 2:00pm – 10:30pm - £16.61

The Role:

  • Perform analytical and physical testing and evaluate results to ensure raw materials, packaging materials, semi-finished products and finished products meet established specifications and GMP requirements.
  • Ensure products meet relevant specifications and customer requirements.
  • Collect, receive and archive samples including raw materials, packaging, labels, semi-finished products, finished products and water samples.
  • Carry out swab sampling for environmental monitoring and cleaning validation.
  • Organise and prioritise laboratory workload to ensure testing is completed within agreed lead times and production requirements.
  • Carry out routine maintenance, minor repairs, cleaning and calibration of laboratory equipment.
  • Perform testing of raw materials, semi-finished products and packaging materials prior to use in production

About You

  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience working within a pharmaceutical GMP Quality Control laboratory.
  • Strong experience in chemical and physical analytical testing.
  • Knowledge and practical experience of a range of laboratory analytical techniques,
  • Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • BSc (Hons) in Chemistry or an equivalent qualification within a relevant scientific discipline.

Pay: £13.68-£16.61 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 per week
